Join us on Fridays at 6:00pm CST for the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Support Group for Spanish Speakers.
This group is a weekly event focusing on supporting each other and building friendships. We talk about daily life, Duchenne struggles, and get in plenty of laughs. We expect to have weekly topics and guest speakers on occasion, but please feel free to talk about anything that’s on your mind.
We come from all over the globe to chat about life. All Spanish speakers are welcome.
Our Host
Gloria Orozco is a mom of an 11-year-old boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Her 14-year-old nephew also has Duchenne. Gloria is a manifesting carrier, as well as her 14-year-old daughter and her two sisters.
Gloria has dedicated herself to raising awareness since 2012 when her son and nephew first got their diagnosis. Gloria often serves as a liaison between people and organizations to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by Duchenne.
