Welcome

So many things change with the diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. For everyone.

In addition to overwhelming grief, members of the nuclear Duchenne family – siblings, parents and the individuals themselves – often feel misunderstood, glossed over, left out, unacknowledged, and alone on this journey.

Relationships with close family, extended family, marriages, friendships change. Even your relationship with yourself changes.

Extended family and friends often feel at a loss, too. They don’t know what to say, when to say it, how to say it or even how to help.

So many are struggling. We want to help.
